Teenagers Programs in Spain
and Costa Rica:
Teenagers program Spain:
Tarragona: A pleasant coastal
resort approximately 100 km south of Barcelona (86 km from the
airport). Tarragona is a provincial capital and has a population of
around 115,000. It is situated on the Costa Dorada and is an ideal
location for a teenage program of this kind. The town is lively, but
not too big; it has its own sandy beaches within walking distance of
the school; it is very close to Port Aventura (one of Europe's largest
theme parks) and is only an hour from Barcelona by bus or train.
Sevilla: It's
the capital of
Andalusia, is considered to be one
of the most beautiful cities in Spain and the one which
best keeps alive the spirit of its traditions.
An explosion of colour and contrast, as well
as the successful mix
of the modern and traditional, mean that Seville offers
a wide range of cultural variety to cater for all tastes throughout the
year: Flamenco, bullfighting, Semana Santa (Holy Week), The April Fair
and the lively atmosphere in the streets due to the open and friendly nature of its
people.
Malaga: The
town Málaga (600.000 inhabitants) is a sunny city with many
beaches that attract students, professionals and scholars from around
the world. Study and leisure time activities are unlimited and sports
enthusiasts will find top-rate facilities for golf, water sports,
horseback riding, and skiing all within a close range. If you like to
explore other areas of historical and cultural sights outside of
Málaga, you can visit Seville, Granada, Cordoba and Cadiz,
all easily accessible by car, bus or train.
Teenagers program Costa Rica:
Heredia: Heredia
is the smallest province of Costa Rica known as the city of flowers .
It is located 7 miles from the capital of the country, San
José. The population is about one hundred thousand people.
Our Summer Camp takes place in one of the neighbourhoods called San
Juan de Santa Barbara de Heredia. It is a sub-urban area with coffee
plantations.
Santa Ana: Our campus is located on a hilltop about ten miles
west of San José. It has a dining hall, a lounge,
twenty-five classrooms (twenty indoors and five outdoors), two lodges,
a fifty-foot long swimming pool, a volleyball court, a basketball
court, a tennis backboard, ping-pong tables, a bathhouse (solar heated
showers), two meeting rooms (TV. and VCR), and lots of hammocks. The
views from the campus are spectacular. Tropical fruits are available in
abundance and the air is fresh and pure. We believe that our campus is
an ideal place for intensive language study.
